Sweet Path of Development
From a modest facility producing the first chocolate-covered wafers to a modern enterprise with a rich confectionery offering – this is Majami’s journey. Over successive decades, the company has developed production, expanded its product range, and gained new customers, combining tradition with innovation.

The Majami Confectionery Production Plant was established. The first product introduced to the market was chocolate-covered wafers. This was a modest but significant start for the company, which initiated its dynamic development in the following decades.
Industrial production was launched. The first products were wafers imported from Silesia and covered with chocolate, delivered directly to stores using the company’s own transport. These operations bypassed the wholesale network and covered the area of the former Piotrków Voivodeship and neighboring voivodeships. The plant employed 10 people at that time.

Production of marshmallow jellies, chocolate-covered milk candies, and jellies in sugar and chocolate began. Production and employment doubled. Intensive marketing activities, including participation in trade fairs, aimed to acquire new customers and increase brand recognition.
New machines were purchased and the offering was expanded by introducing candies based on fat masses. Increased competition from the West forced further diversification of production. Marketing and promotion continued to rely on participation in domestic and international trade fairs.
The product range was expanded with additional candies, bars, jelly products, and individually wrapped chocolate-covered milk candies. Production growth compared to 1991 reached 300%. On October 10, the company obtained sheltered workshop status, employing 60% of people with disabilities.
In September, cooperation was established with the Milko Confectionery Factory in Bełchatów. Initially planned as temporary, the cooperation led to the merger of the companies. Employment increased to approximately 70 people.
The merger with Milko accelerated development and enabled entry into Western markets. By the end of the year, the company employed 215 people and produced 3.5 tons of products daily.
Relocation of the company headquarters to a larger facility on Czyżewskiego Street in Bełchatów.
The production hall was expanded and lines for new products, such as sauces and toffee creams, were launched.

Production of sesame bars began, expanding the offering with a new category of confectionery.

The Mufito brand was created – a line of exclusive toffee products, including sauces, creams, English Fudge toffees, and butter toffees.

In response to health-conscious trends, the Earth of Eco line was created – organic products made exclusively from ingredients sourced from certified farms.
Acquisition of the Łódź-based company Unitop, which enabled the creation of the Sweets House Group Capital Group.
